idk. i went through the first few pages of the blog and i don’t see how it’s bashing babies. i actually can relate to a lot of the stuff that’s on that blog.

it’s not un-feminist to not want children and be vocal about that and push back against the overwhelming societal pressure that tells people with uteruses that they will be having kids, even when they’ve clearly stated they’d rather not.

i mean, i see some stuff that’s like- parenting isn’t fun, childbirth is icky, etc, but those are subjective opinions that i actually share. i know motherhood is amazing for a lot of people, i love reading about it, i love parenting blogs and i’ve learnt a lot from bloggers such as ma’ia (whose main and midwife blogs ROCK), but i would rather carve out my uterus than become pregnant. it’s nice to hear from other people who feel like i feel.

i haven’t combed through the archives of the blog, but i’m really not seeing all this hate that’s being talked about. am i missing particular posts?

edit: okay, i’ve seen a few posts about how people shouldn’t have kids because of overpopulation and how parenting isn’t a big deal. i disagree with sentiments like that- i don’t want kids, but i’d never point a finger and say you shouldn’t have em if you want them, and parenting is a bloody important gig. sigh. idk. they’ve got stuff i agree with up there along with some stuff that’s problematic. story of life, huh?
